I am a 26 yo world traveller. Meeting new people, exploring new environments and learning about different cultures is what makes me tick. I love to go out and be social at times and Melbourne is a great place to do that. Other times I prefer the piece and quiet of the country. There's a time for everyting and for me it's time to travel again

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a share house and will have to run any requests past my house mate - however, we do have a couch, a very comfortable one actually, and I would love for it to get a bit more use out of it.
I am also happy to meet up for coffee or drinks and show you around this beautiful and vibrant city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm only new to this and have only ever stayed at frineds places or backpackers when travelling - I am excited about making some friends and telling you about my experiences soon though.

Interests

Languages, Cultures, Youth Work, Human Interaction, that kind of stuff. I also love swimming - for it's meditative qualities; and soccer for the social aspect.

Music, Movies, and Books

Again, depending on the mood I'm in I can get into any music. Skunk Anansie, Peaches, MIA and Seeed have been favourites of mine for years.
Favourite book is definitely "The Alchemist".
My favourite movie...that's difficult. Maybe the Pixar movie "Up" - it really resonated with the adventurer in me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done lots of amazing things; I have migrated to Australia at the age of 18, I have travelled the Outback with 100 people from all over the world, I have driven through Europe and seen amazing places like Cinque Terre and Vienna, I have snowboarded in the Swiss Alps, I have soaked in the beautiful underwater world of the Red Sea in Egypt and felt the vibe and the pace of the big apple, I climed "Mount Doom" in New Zealand and now I am doing this...
