ABOUT ME

Quynh-Nhu, a cactus which blooms at night time and gives a sweet fragrance, is obviously not a German name and I do not look like a German girl either, however, my heart beats for the western ideals of freedom, tolerance and equality.
That might sounds stiff but CS asks me to write about myself and I think this is one of the most important thing about me :) I was born in Vietnam and grew up there til I was 6. The rest of my life I mostly was surrounded by German people and German education. I do appreciate both influences because I got to know two cultures which sometimes differ from each other like day and night.
For that reason I'm dying to see the rest of this big and beautiful world, see their diversity and people, their dark and good side.

I'm easy-going and complicated, quiet and loud, funny and thoughtful.. kind of a strange mix of child and grandma xD

Though I'm as normal and abnormal as all the other beings on earth so it might be better to get to know me instead of wasting your time by reading my vague self-definition :)

PHILOSOPHY

I try not just walking on a straight line but take one step to the left and another one to the right. Mostly go forward but also backwards. I just wanna make sure that I see as much aspects as I can so I can bring everything together or at least stand in between and have a good view :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Unfortunately I haven't got any eyperieces with CS yet. But if it's as interesting as it sounds, it will be a great experience! Looking forward to it!

Interests

And besides these daydreams I'm a passionate dancer and singer, I'm interested in arts, books, photography, the ocean, flowers, people, cycling, snorkeling, talking, listening, laughing and all the other things which make life exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is LOVE..
Depends on where I am, what I'm doing and who I'm with.. Music is always by my side. For my daydreams my Ipod plays Coldplay, Florence and the Machine, Sia, OneRepublic, Ellie Goulding, A Fine Frenzy, The Fray, many others, some German and a few Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese artists.

Books and movies are also good for my soul!

European fascinating architecture, Vietnamese poverty and beauty, Australia's amazing nature... I hope to see much more of the world even if I think that I'm already bless by these expeciences!
