Overview
About Me
I have lived in Washington DC area for four years and this is unquestionably my favorite city. I recently graduated from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government with a Master's degree in Public Administration. I have been a journalist, blogger, editor and columnist for more than ten years. My previous assignments involve reporting on at least three insurgencies in Balochistan, Pakistan's largest province bordering Iran and Afghanistan and now home to a controversial port built by the Chinese in the city of Gwadar. That says enough how passionate I am about discussing politics, international affairs, journalism and human rights.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have lived in several group houses where I have met some of my best friends and have had extremely interesting conversations with our short-term guests. I recently rented my own studio apartment when I moved back from Boston to DC. I miss that wonderful experience of meeting people in the group houses. I am very friendly and I would love to host people coming to DC. Also, I love traveling and I personally love couchsurfing because I think tourists should never spend much money on hotels. We spend all of our time outside. So, why not to find a cheap, comfortable place which feels like home when you go to sleep at night.
