About Me

Wanderlust is in my DNA. I have traveled in China, Tibet, NZ, Australia, Central America, Italy, France, Germany, Iceland, Austria, CZECH and some Pacific Islands.
I enjoy new friends, hiking, FOOD, learning new cultures, scuba and skydiving.
I am planning on a 90 day Eurail trip thru Europe. I have always stayed in Guest Houses, Youth Hostels, B&B's and using AirB&B.
The best part of traveling is meeting people as I travel. New friends are the best source of information. There is always a good transfer of information from one to another.
I have been a funeral home owner and mortician all of my adult life. My profession always sparks a good conversation.
My son gifted me this 90 day Eurail pass as a retirement gift.
I am very active, eat healthy, like to hike and always looking for the next adventure. I am not married but I was in the past. I feel that Couchsurfing fits my style of traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This question was well covered in the above ABOUT ME section.
I enjoying meeting people one-on-one and in small groups.
Local residents always know the best places to visit.
I don't enjoy being in the "Tourist Hassle" so Couchsurfing is best for me
I have used AIR B&B 's before with good results.
I am looking forward to my Couchsurfing experience.
