About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be one with the global village

ABOUT ME

Pretty chill, easy to get along with, and attentive to the people around me. I don't say much, but when I do have something to say, I make sure it's loud and CLEAR. I enjoy learning from people and immersing myself in new environments and cultures because it helps me connect more with the world(hence, the current mission).

PHILOSOPHY

Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be a virgin to CSing outside of my current home in Malawi, but I figured the hospitality of the experience won't be any different than CSing in Zambia, Cambodia, Guyana, Kazakhstan, or even Canada.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted couch surfers and I've been a couch surfer in Malawi. As a host, I try my very best to ensure that food, comfort, and good entertainment is provided. As a couch surfer, I treat my host with the dignity and respect as I expect to receive from my host. I am psyched to be a couch surfer host once I've settled back in the states (or wherever else I end up in the world)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee-Jumping from the highest Bungee jump bridge in the world at South Africa.

Teach, Learn, Share

From my 3 years of Peace Corps, I think I've gained noteworthy skills of assimilating and building capacity within the social norms of a foreign culture. There's more to just learning the community's local language and cultural customs. I think I could share knowledge about that. I can teach cooking rice without the convenience of a rice cooker. If there's something I want to learn, it's everything.

Countries I’ve Visited

Mozambique, Netherlands, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Countries I’ve Lived In

Malawi, United States
