PHILOSOPHY

Deep question. Okay, I live my life based on what makes me happy. Life is too short to do things you hate. I'm trying not to worry too much about the future. My favorite quote is "I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition." Therefore, I try to stay as upbeat and pleasant as possible even in the face of difficulties in my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never done this before! I told a friend I was going to England this summer and he suggested I try this. I've seen the movie Taken one too many times, so I'm a little nervous. :D

I like to crochet and ballroom dance. I LOVE enormous hats and unique travel experiences. I enjoy shopping and visiting museums. Really, the only things I DON'T like are insects and roller coasters.

My knowledge of movies disappoints most of my friends. I have not seen Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, or any of the Bond movies. I like Quentin Tarantino's movies, Inception, Taken, Pride and Prejudice, any of the Disney movies, French Kiss, Love Actually, and all of the Harry Potter movies.
As for music, I've really gotten into chillstep lately when I study or try to code. When I'm not studying or coding, I listen to mostly popular music- I have everything Maroon 5 has ever done, the Xx, the new Justin Timberlake album, Lady Gaga, Daft Punk, most pop music. I cannot stand country music.

I dove in the Great Barrier Reef. Manta rays swam above my head and it was THE coolest experience of my life. I also saw a sleeping shark!!

Anyone! Everyone has different life experiences that you can learn from, so I'd love to learn anything from anyone. I can teach people to crochet and do a little bit of sewing and I can share recipes. I know a little bit about a lot of things and I'm always looking to broaden my horizons.
