Im mother of two little girls, so this is a point of interest, of course. I'm travelling with my family, because I want to see a bit of the world before I start studying again when my second daughter reaches the age of two. Maybe we also will keep travelling until she is three - always have some plan but never rely on it. :-)

I love poetry, music, and a glass of good wine.
I love nature, especially the wonderful forests and amazing rock formations of my great home area, the Saxon Swyzerland, and I love to explore other beautiful areas wherever I go. But that is also gardening, raising, harvesting, cooking what nature provides - the moment inside, because we don't have a real garden.
I love my children, though they use to drive me crazy, too.
I love languages. There should be "languages I want to learn", too... So, I want to learn: Swedish, Norwegian, French, Chinese or Japanese, maybe Italian, too. And I'm happy about anyone helping me on with one of those or another interesting language. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's a great possibillity to enable travelling also to those, who do not have so much money. Besides you get to know a country and its people much better, if you stay with persons, who live there, instead of some isolated room in a hotel. :)
