ABOUT ME

I'm Marty, I'm 22 and currently travelling the world. I was lucky enough to grow up in an amazing place (Sydney, Australia), but life back home has become a little bit bland and too full of routine. I've finished 4 years of an arts (english, history, spanish and philosophy) and law degree, and it's time to travel the globe. So far I've seen the USA and Canada, Central and South America, so now it's time to see what Europe has to offer. So far I've been super impressed, the people are lovely and the history is a world of difference to anything back home.

In Sydney when I'm not studying, I work in a clothes store and dj (occassionally). Love my electronic music and a big night out, but I probably prefer rock. Listening to bands like Band of Horses, Coldplay, Cut Copy, Kings of Leon and the Kooks keep a smile on my face when I'm away from home missing my friends and family.

Having stayed in hostels throughout my travels, it's now time for a different kind of experience. I want to see how the locals live, to see what makes the ppl living in a place tick. That's where you come in... The greatest joy of travelling for me is not the famous monuments I see, or the moments captured in photos, it's the human interaction with people of different cultures and ways of life. I honestly believe that you can learn at least 1 thing from every person in the world, even if at first glance they seem like a waste of time...
