Two years ago, I stumbled upon Couchsurfing, and what started as curiosity quickly became a way of life. Meeting travelers from around the world, sharing stories over coffee (or something stronger), and experiencing places through the eyes of locals—this platform has given me memories I wouldn't trade for anything. Whether it's hosting, surfing, or just connecting with fellow adventurers, I believe that the best way to experience the world is through the people you meet.
My travel bug bit early—my first international trip was to Dubai at 14 with my family. The towering skyscrapers, futuristic malls, and crazy infrastructure fascinated me. We stayed with my cousins, explored the city, and even did a little shopping (or at least watched my parents do it). That was the beginning.
Fast forward to 2019, and I was off to Singapore on a college trip. It was one of those perfectly chaotic experiences—teachers trying to keep things under control while we snuck out at night to hit the clubs. Zouk was the highlight. Met some incredible people, danced till sunrise, and came back with stories that still make me smile.
2022 was a game-changer. A spontaneous trip to Thailand turned into an adventure of a lifetime. Snorkeling, beach-hopping, meeting strangers who became friends, and, of course, the legendary Full Moon Party—I lived it all. Later that year, I found myself in Sri Lanka with a German friend. We climbed Sigiriya Rock, stayed in some stunning properties, and met incredible people along the way.
2023 was a whirlwind. I kicked it off with a solo trip to Bali, staying in hostels and exploring places like Jakarta, Nusa Penida, and more. Then came another trip to Singapore—this time for an exhibition, but I still managed to reunite with old friends and make the most of it. Nepal followed, a solo journey that led me to a bunch of fellow Indian travelers, with unforgettable moments in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Hong Kong came next, another exhibition but packed with fun, city explorations, and some insane food experiences. Then it was back to Dubai, this time for business, but with enough time to enjoy and meet colleagues outside of work. Vietnam closed out the year—a crazy trip with my cousin, full of wild nights in Saigon, breathtaking landscapes in Sapa, and a ton of new friends.
2024 took me to the USA in March. Three weeks across Las Vegas and New York—and what an experience! From the wild nights and high-energy casinos of Vegas to the electrifying streets of NYC, every moment was a rush. Standing at Summit Vanderbilt, looking over the city skyline, was surreal. Then in November, Turkey happened. Another solo adventure, but the people I met made it unforgettable. Hostel life, epic photography spots, and a culture that left a mark on me.
And now, 2025? Where are we heading next? Always open to new adventures, new faces, and new stories. If our paths cross, let’s make it a trip to remember!
