About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be the best version of me possible and inspire others.
ABOUT ME
I'm a piano teacher in the DC area who loves to travel and meet new people. I like to challenge myself with new experiences and test my boundaries. I'm down-to-earth, fun and can by shy or outgoing, depending on my mood. I love chilling, taking life as it comes, and knowing that everything has its own perfect order (even if I don't understand it in the moment!).
PHILOSOPHY
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
~Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted a family from Germany a few summers ago and had a fabulous time! I gained a lot of insight on our culture and a new perspective on our differences and similarities. I have fallen off the Couch Surfing band wagon the last few years and look forward to getting back on.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love the different types of people you can meet through Couch Surfing. It obviously makes traveling less of a financial burden (yey!), but I feel you actually learn more about wherever you are through your experiences with the people you meet.
Interests
Traveling, yoga, meditation, living the fit life, music, art, reading, browsing through bookstores, window shopping (and not buying anything!), meeting new people, different cultures & religions, living food, holistic nutrition, bodybuilding, TaeBo, endurance sports, having the best day ever!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love old movies, foreign films, documentaries, musicals, anything Audrey Hepburn, inspirational films, movies that leave you thinking differently about life.
Just finished re-reading Eat, Pray, Love and a few Ekhart Tolle books.
I don't own a TV.
I pretty much love all types of music. Classical music is near and dear to my heart as I've been playing piano since I was 4, but I'm always open to hearing something new. Experimental music, techo, jazz, indie rock, you name it! Lately I've been really listening to music that inspires me and pumps me up.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm... I'll have to think about that one.
