ABOUT ME

Hmm... they may say I am always-smiling-girl. I am optimistic. No matter how exhausting the situation is, rather get annoyed, I could find the joy from it and finally enjoy.

I've achieved what I make up my mind. Once I decide to do things, then I finally make it. So my best friends would say I am a girl with strooong will.

PHILOSOPHY

As long as someone gained a life as a human, he or she is responsible for savoring it fully. He or She need to cherish it. And so do I. When I respect and prize my life, I feel happiness. So I live my life for the happiness. It doesn't mean I pursue only the enjoyment. No matter how exhausting the process is, I know that would lead me to the better-me and the fact that I overcome the difficulties and finally made it would make me really happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to experience new things I've never done before. 'New things' could be the new places I've never been, the new people I've never met and the new projects I've never tried. Do you know what the word which includes all of them is? It's TRAVEL! I love traveling.

But I also love to meet the local people. When I tour the city as a stranger(traveler), that’s not enough! I may get a glimpse of the city. But, when I meet, have a talk and live shortly with the locals, I could feel the city much fully! By having a time to chat, I could get a deeper understanding of the city(world) and also I could be a good friend of you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It’s the first time I try to find a host from CS!
If I meet warm-hearted host, I have a plan to invite the host to my home in the future (when I get a job and my own place).

Interests

I LOVE listening to music. It'€™s almost K-POPs. I usually take a shower, wash the dishes and dry my hair, listening to music. (But if you are reluctant to it, I WILL NOT do that! ^^)

I also LOVE drawing. Although my drawing skill is not that good, sometimes I am lost in expressing my mind and emotion by drawing. Whenever I draw, I am relaxed and feel peaceful. Actually when I got dumped from my ex-boyfriend, I was depressed and pessimistic at first, but I settled down by drawing. I believe in the healing power of drawing!

I LOVE reading and writing, too. I LOVE to get moved by a passage which arouses sympathy. And I write down the passage in my diary or post it on my blog. I like taking notes whatever comes into my head ; it could be a passage of a poem or just a thought floating on my head. I plan to write down almost everything I taste, see, feel and hear during this traveling in the note and add some small drawings to keep the moments forever.

In addition, I like taking pictures and I think, I have an eye for the photos. I love to photograph a site of scenic beauty.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is "The Little Prince". I read it over and over again. Usually I tend to borrow books from library. But particularly, I bought it twice - Korean ver and English ver, because "The Little Prince" written by English has another attraction from the one written by Korean. It may feel like an easy book to read... But it includes huge concepts. As I am growing up, I could understand the book much deeper. I presented it to my best friend as a birthday gift! I recommend it to you guys, too.

My music taste is... hmm... jazz? and pop. I like calm and a little bit doleful melody. But actually the genre of the music is not that important to me. I consider who the singer is when I choose the music rather the genre. I love the voice which is appealing and which could transmit the feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This would not that amazing to you... but I was surprised after I experienced this. I believe in the power of love. I have a boy friend whom I really love and also respcet. One day, on the way to the date place, suddenly I had a severe stomachache. I hardly walked, broke out in a cold sweat and evenly I felt dizzy. I wondered if I could reach to the place and go out with him. But since I was on the way to the place, I barely went there and met him. Quickly we went to the cafe to take some rest. To my surprise, the pain was slowly wearing off after meeting him! Yeah... maybe it's a power of LOVE. How marvelous it is!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm... If you want to know the words in Korean, I will kindly let you know! Also I learned Seo Ye, Korean caligraphy, a little bit. If you want to get your name card written by Korean, ask me! I will prepare it for your gift ^_^. I plan to prepare some present and that will be korean traditional stuffs such as chopsticks or folding fan and so on. I will ask you by e-mail which one would you like.
