ABOUT ME

I´m an open minded, half portuguese, half german Girl and I love travelling, languages and meeting people from all around the world.
I grew up in Bavaria, Germany but I have already lived in Spain and France for almost two years. In February 2015 I'm heading off to Brazil, Salvador da Bahia for an Internship and afterwards, I'm going to travel around in Southamerica for 3-4 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't used couchsurfing a lot yet but I've heard a lot of good things about it, so I'd like to try this out! Another reason for joining couchsurfing is, that I hope to find a place to stay in Salvador da Bahia during my internship. It would be between 18th of February until the end of April 2015...does someone have a free room to rent out during that period?

Interests

I love travelling and languages and communicating with people. I'm a curious person and I love trying out new things, spontaneous crazy things. I'm really interested in intercultural communication, what is also subject of the Masters I'm currently doing. Whenever I have some time, you can find me in the kitchen, experimenting around with new recipes based on sustainable and regional products and it makes me incredibly happy to share a tasty meal and a glass of wine (or beer) with the people around me.
Another important thing in my life is music, I grew up in a very musical family, which made me open for a lot of different kinds of music and I'm always in for any kind of concert or festival!
I would not call myself the sportiest person in the world, but I'm trying to keep myself in form with a lot of dancing, hiking trips, a bit of running. And in winter as the Alps are so close to my hometown Munich a lot of skiing, I'm loving it! I've also tried other stuff like doing a via ferrata and some surfing during my time in Spain...and I liked it a lot too!
