Hello! Currently I work as an Au Pair in Rhineland-Pfalz. I am 18 years old and I hope to see more of Germany and Europe during my stay here. I am very interested in different languages and cultures and after my gap year would like to study French and German at university. I come from Scotland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned before I would love to explore and discover more parts of the world. I have friends that have had very positive experiences with couchsurfing and are still friends to this day!

I love many different types of music except country really :)
My favourite band has got to be The Beatles.
I also really love Tame Impala, Lana Del Rey, Bastille, 80s music and any Bollywood song :)

My favourite movies are Stand By Me and Lawrence of Arabia.
I also really like eighties movies like The Goonies and The Breakfast Club. I like the films of Wes Anderson, my favourite is The Darjeeling Limited and horror movies.

I am an avid reader, my favourite book being The Catcher in the Rye. I LOVE the Harry Potter and Game of Thrones series. I'm fascinated with mythology and have read many books on the subject.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably moving to a different country by myself for a year and having to communicate mainly in a language I don't speak (yet).

I speak English so if anyone is interested in improving theirs I would love to help.
I have indian ancestry and would like to share my experience and teach others things from that perspective.
I would love to participate in a language exchange so I could improve my German and French.
