Very new here so looking to make some contacts and maybe show a few people around Thailand.

ABOUT ME

I come from Clacton, in England - the kind of place that makes you want to travel. In 2004 I moved to Thailand, where I've taught English, been a TV presenter and written guidebooks. I'm one of the authors for the current Lonely Planet guide to Thailand (the Central chapter) and I've also written for Insight Guides and a few other folk. I love meeting fellow travellers and sharing experiences.
Whenever I have a holiday I like to take off somewhere, I've been to about 35 countries and am always up for trying out somewhere, or something, new.

I'm always happy to meet anyone who is passing through Thailand, especially if they're somewhere in the east. If anyone wants advice for travel around Southeast Asia, I've been to most parts so can give a few tips.
