About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'd like to visit all the 196 countries in the world thereby learning and appreciating the beautiful cultures and traditions of this wonderful planet

ABOUT ME

A new resident of Boston since July 2013, its diversity, history and a new opportunity drew me here. Originally from Tibet, I grew up in India, graduated in New York, and then worked in New York, Colorado and Minnesota. The different cultures and traditions of the world fascinate me. Outgoing and laidback, a minimalist of sorts, I believe that happiness is every one's goal in life and that (to quote Dalai Lama - at a fundamental level, as human beings, we are all the same - seeking happiness and avoiding suffering).

PHILOSOPHY

At a fundamental level, as human beings, we are all the same - seeking happiness and avoiding suffering.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting my country Tibet for the first time and meeting my cousins and relatives for the first time was the most amazing yet emotional thing. I hope to visit them again.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I'm in town, you can stay for a few days (that can be worked out). If you need to stay longer and willing to offer your couch, then let me know. You can also use my car (small suv with gps) to see much of New England from the famous Cape Cod to the small fishing villages in Maine (don't forget to stop for a delicious Maine lobster).
I love talking about my country Tibet, sharing its culture and traditions and history. At the same time I'd love to learn about your culture and traditions. Its a beautiful thing.
I work till about 5pm, so evenings and weekends are free in case you'd like to hang out together. I can also guide you (although I'm quite new here) - boston is a walking & biking city - I love walking, just bring a good pair of walking shoes :)
