ABOUT ME

I am an passionate and loving person who loves life and wants to get as much out of it as possible. I love meeting new people, especially those that make my think and expand my views on the world. I work with kids and LOVE my work. Makes me smile just to type that.... I am a theatre educator and I work with all populations including work with special needs children and adults. I am passionate about my work and the students that I work with. I think that children (and those with mental disabilities) should be given every opportunity to do well in life and that they should be respected as human beings. I believe that respect should be based on the fact that we are conscious beings and on our actions, not age or ability. I am passionate about the arts/creation and making sure that is a part of as many lives as possible b/c it enables us to find the best in ourselves. I go to museums (of all sorts: art, science, etc) to remember the best in human kind.I also try to pursue a grateful and responsible life and remember that everything I get I have asked for in some way. I also love being social, dining out and using my body (dance, hiking, etc) to connect to my physical self.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS. I joined in 2008, but I really have not had a chance to participate since then, b/c I started a company in 2008 and got very, very busy. But now things are calming down a bit and I am looking to meet people and travel more. Excited to participate!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met one or two people locally, but that is about it since I am just starting. It seems like an awesome group of people though from what I can see!
