About Me

To travel the world and meet interesting people.

My name is Sonia. I've been an English teacher at Beihang University for over a year now, and I love living in China. I like to think that I am laid back with a good sense of humor. I enjoy novel experiences whatever they may be.

I really admire Leonardo da Vinci because he was a true Renaissance man. He was great in many diverse fields and I admire him because I have many diverse interests including: art, mathematics, neuroscience, psychology, business, architecture, and education. I love learning about other peoples' work because I am still searching for my path in this life. I'm a sponge absorbing knowledge and learning as much as I can, for the time being.

I'm very open minded and I try not to judge people that are different than me. I believe everyone should be accepting. I cannot tolerate intolerance :) also the Buddhist philosophy is growing on me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have surfed and hosted.

I was very excited by the idea of couchsurfing, but I was initially very put off because of a negative experience. Since then however, I have tried again and had all my expectations far surpassed. Needless to say, I love couchsurfing!
