I think my friends would describe me as busy! And hopefully modest - as I've no idea what to say about myself! I love to listen, learn and work hard - and play hard of course.
The kindness of strangers is something I have been humbled by on so many occasions. I guess as someone who has moved around so much and has mostly 'long distance' friendships, travelling and meeting these new people is what really makes my life feel engaging. At the moment my main interests include training for a 10K race to raise money for charity, learning French and painting when I can. I also teach English at the moment to young children alongside training to be an architect.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Awestruck moments It has to be are: phenomenal kindness of strangers in Shanghai on our arrival after a long flight - the students greeted us with banners and flowers and more & Sitting in a tiny roof terrace cafe in India and hearing wailing as people all came out to cry for the loss of a young member of the community in a car crash- our waiter excused himself to find out what had happened and then came back only a few moments later to carry on serving us in the kindest and most generous of manners.
