I've grown up moving. My mother was not in the military. She dealt the hands she was given and tried to do better I think. So "home" has been England, France, Beverly Mass., Newbury Park, CA, San Antonio TX, and now Raleigh NC with a couple town changes within NC. I have been in the Air Force (4 years). I finally have my American citizenship after living here since I was 7 yrs old. Recently I have gotten restless and need to travel. My occupation does not allow for a lot of spending money so I try to take road trips in places surrounding NC. I'll get to Italy, Greece, Thailand and Africa eventually. I love stand up paddle boarding. It is my therapy. My favorite place to be is outside, unless its cold. Then its definitly inside in front of a fire.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like I stated above. My career does not allow for much extra income but I must travel even if its not to far from Raleigh. My main plan is to sleep in my car since a twin matress fits perfectly in the back. I hope this site will help me meet people that can give me good advice about what I'd like to experience locally and maybe if the summer heat calls for it a place to shower.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most recently would be to drive down to Carolina Beach for the day because it was my 40th. bday. I watch the sunrise over the Atlantic and right before sunset I jumped out of a plane for the first time. I figured if I was going "over the hill" I would do it out of a plance.
