My name is Sophie, I'm 18 years old and from Hamburg, Germany. In 2014, I`ve been to New Zealand for one year to learn the language and make new experiences. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet new people. I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to experience the culture of a country you visit, it's way more fun than staying in a hotel or hostel.

Interests

I love reading and writing. I also love having discussions about interesting things and learning other people's point of views. Sometimes I try to cook, but then I use another amazing talent and call the pizza service. Baking is not too bad though :) I also play the violin and am a big fan of classical music.
I like spending time with friends and having a good time. Experiencing new things is my number 1 interest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all different kinds of music and am open to new things. I don't have a favourite band but I love Ed Sheeran's music, also the arctic monkeys and coldplay. Same with movies, there's too many to chose from but I'll watch anything except horror movies. About books... I'm such a booklover and I could NEVER chose one favourite book (or genre. My reading taste depends on my mood). As long as it keeps my interest, has a good plot and message, there's a good chance I'll like it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a bungee jump. Scary and just so amazing at the same time... Also, I've been diving at the poor knight islands in New Zealand. Hang on, the BEST thing was that I caught a 112 kg fish...
