About Me

♥ Not all those who wander are lost ♥
I'm totally easy going, love a drink or several and a good dance.
I'm an extremely open minded person and up for trying new foods and general shenanigans and I think it's really important to travel the world and learn about different cultures and the way people live.

My first experience of travelling was in South East Asia with my brother when I was 18 and fresh out of college. I had the most unbelievable time, and this is when I first realised I just wanted to go everywhere possible. I saw some amazing things and most importantly met the most incredible people, some of which have turned out to be life long friends.
A few years later I traveled a few countries in South America with some of my girlfriends (who I actually met in Thailand!) and now here I am with my partner in Australia working and travelling. Who knows where we will end up!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ok so i'm not really sure how this works, i'm brand new to Couchsurfing! I'm currently not accepting guests as i'm on a working holiday visa in Australia, but once I get back to England i'm sure I will make a great host :)
I absolutely love the travelling lifestyle and seeing various cultures and would love to couchsurf with some fun, outgoing and laid back people who are happy to suggest (or show me) some quirky bars and stuff to do that not all backpackers can say they've done!!

Interests

I LOVE LOVE LOVE music, going to gigs and festivals. I just love that chilled hippy like vibe where everyone's on the same wave length and happy :D
Just generally hanging out with friendly and outgoing people who are always up for a laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: I love anything with a good beat to it, my music of choice would definitely be rock/ indie (Slash and Steven Tyler are my faves).
Generally will listen and dance to anything though, drum and bass, deep house. You cant go wrong with a bit of funky blues and jazz aswel ♫
MOVIES: Thoroughly enjoy a good action thriller and I am a girl so obviously a cheeky chick flick wouldn't go a miss.
BOOKS: I'm more of a flick through a magazine and look at the pictures kinda gal. I only really read books when i'm travelling, currently stuck into a book about Buddha. I've said to myself that i'm going to start reading more non fiction books so I can become more cleverererrr.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Machu Picchu was the most incredible thing I've ever done, just the fact you have to climb the mountain to experience whats up there! There is so much history behind it and as its former use still remains a mystery, I just found it so interesting.
The build up was just as fun, getting used to the altitude in Cusco with some hard core partying, one bloodbomb at Loki and your on your way.
