In September 2016 I decided to put the brakes on my recruitment career and take off travelling. I quit my job of three years and have been exploring the world ever since along with my girlfriend.

We have spent most of the last year in Australia but are currently in SE Asia and right now working our way north in Vietnam! :)

We love meeting new people, learning about different cultures and trying lots of different foods! We're both very open, honest and fun loving people and always enjoy sharing drinks, food and conversation with new people! We're also huge animal lovers so would love to meet your feline / canine buddies too!

One thing we love about travelling is forming close bonds across different countries and meeting up with people again and again as our paths cross on our travels. We figured couch surfing would be the best way to meet local people and learn first hand about local culture and traditions.

I don't exaggerate when I say my music taste is eclectic. I am always listening to music and this is anything from rock (Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, The Gaslight Anthem, Twin Atlantic etc.) to dance, to chart stuff. I am also a huge country music fan and one day soon would love to visit Nashville - particuarly when the Country Music Festival is in town! I also love blues, Motown, rap, rnb, hip hop! I could go on.

I read mostly none fiction - mostly around politics and major historical events. I do also enjoy some fictional classics and have recently finished reading the Hand Maid's tale.

Movies - again I like lots of different stuff! I've always been a fan of horror movies but will also enjoy romcoms and psychological thrillers!
