Hello, I'm Sophie! I have a tendency to make last minute life decisions, ranging from questionable haircuts to career changes, with a bit of travel along the way. Nothing to regret so far... (fingers crossed)!
Currently studying - halfway through a postgraduate degree in Critical Writing in Art and Design, but before that I was working as a fashion designer.

Always keen for new experiences - I love listening to people and hearing their stories, walking around and getting lost, and despite the long list I've got already, always keen to chat and swap book/film/art/life recommendations!

I love the idea of the Couchsurfing community, people welcoming each other into their homes in order to help out, and having a brilliant time exchanging ideas and experiences along the way!

I'll be spending the next month in Germany, trying to learn as much of the language as possible! I'll be travelling around the country, looking to chat with as many new people as I can along the way.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I travelled around Japan for a few weeks in 2014! Everything I saw, everything I ate, and everyone I met made this an amazing trip, and really got me excited about seeing more of the world.
