Mmmmmm describing myself... quite complicated, as I'm still trying to understand how I work :D Here is my best try so far:
What my friends would say about me... That I'm crazy, but in a good and funny way! And that I need my sleep (8-9 hours each night) ... they always laugh about me because I want to go to sleep at 10pm if I work the day after...
You can read what people say on my references, to have an idea of how people see me (this means I'm too lazy now to try to describe myself a bit more :o) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started couchsurfing while I was in Sweden (for my job) for a few weeks, and got to meet other people there, do some activities together. I liked the concept.
Later on, I moved to another city in Belgium (Ghent), and started to use couchsurfing to meet some new friends and to improve my language skills. I'm quite fluent in Dutch now and still friend with my language partner :o) My flatmate hosted a few people (more than I did), it was always nice to have people on the couch, to share a meal, a drink, go to a party,...
When traveling, I used couchsurfing from time to time, I like to stay with other people, to share some moments together.
- my friends
- music (I play the flute, still trying to practice)
- sports (climbing, badminton, hiking, kayak, I tried once kite-surfing and would like to do it again, running, swimming, yoga,... I like to try different sports. I'd like to start some martial art some day, or kick-boxing)
I never have enough of free time to do everything I want! Last year, I started the drums :D
Music, Movies, and Books
I like music, a bit of everything as long as it's not too noisy and too loud.
I like reading a lot, and I watch movies from time to time, but I usually never have time enough to read or watch everything I want.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Still working on this one...
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not self-confident enough to offer you to teach you something... but I can help with French, and I'm usually always up for doing stuff (depending which ones of courses, you won't have me in a really loud party with hard core music)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My smile :)
Some time, hanging out, cooking, eating, sports, playing (cards, boardgames), drink tea (I'm trying to quit coffee, unsuccessfully so far). I'm a very bad Belgian, I don't like beer... (but I do like chocolate, trying to quit as well, even more unsuccessful with it than with the coffee...)
