Interests

So many! I love music - I have played the violin for almost my whole life and love to compose as well. I also enjoy singing (terribly) in the shower and playing around with all kinds of instruments. I also love reading, travelling, eating good food, running, hiking, swimming, cycling, rock climbing (basically anything outdoors), and meeting new and interesting people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Please don't make me choose! I have a pretty eclectic music taste and love discovering cool, new sounds. I like everything from the Beatles to Shostakovich to Florence and the Machine. When it comes to books, I will read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Some of my favourites are 'East of Eden' by John Steinbeck, 'The Talented Mr Ripley' by Patricia Highsmith, and of course the wonderful Harry Potter series. With regard to movies, some of my favourites are 'Into the Wild', 'Good Will Hunting' and all the old Disney classics. Not to brag, but I'm pretty sure I can recite 'The Lion King' word for word. :P

I drove across the USA with my best friend in an outfitted Mitsubishi Outlander.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn about the different cultures, languages and histories of places all around the world and I think travelling is the best way to do that.

I can probably teach some German and English, and a bit of music theory if you're interested!
