ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a gypsy, finally finished up a degree in peace, culture and communications at Naropa University and am looking to resume my gypsy ways.
I am also a writer, trying to work out a way to write what I love for money, and writing what makes me feel good in the meantime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm just offering up companionship. I'm between places myself at the moment, so no longer have a couch to offer. But I'm big on community, I think that's what's missing in the world today, so if you want someone to hang with while you're here, I'm your girl.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent several years of my life couch surfing. In fact, for a while I was the girl you called if you needed someone to help you with rent or were bored or lonely in your current place. The key to being a good couch surfer is to participate, even if you have no money you have something to contribute. I've found that if you give of yourself when you travel you get a hell of a lot more out of the experience than you were planning.

Interests

Culture, Fiction, Travel, politics (but not at all in the traditional way). Learning. That's the big one. Teach me something!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am contemplating a doctorate degree in cultural studies. This is one of my passions. I know a ton about it, which of course means that I realize I don't know much.
