About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To reaffirm my belief in the good of people
ABOUT ME
Like most people, I have layers of complexity and unique edges to me. I'm a bit of an adventurous gypsy - moved from Adelaide, to Melbourne, back to Adelaide then to Sydney - and have travelled extensively - I even dedicated 2007 to this venture. It gives me the opportunity to escape from my frustrated and relatively beige existence in the commuting, corporate world - which funnily enough funds my travelling. I'm relaxed and approachable and make people laugh with my random (or strange) comments and stories. I can also be serious and opinionated, but I am also caring and loyal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The highlights on my travels have been when I couch surfed with people met previously on my travels. Like my Irish friend who I met in Chile over a pisco sour or my Swiss mate who I crossed paths with in Mexico. It was great to be welcomed by their friends and family and taken along to their locals whether pub, music festival or bike path.
Interests
I like getting lost in unknown places - just wandering around and witnessing the world like a fly on the wall.
Movies, Music and Books - as below
Spending time with family and friends.
- books
- festivals
- dancing
- pub crawls
- flying

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of all three - appreciate the escapism and the creative people behind it. Also into a variety dependant on the mood and company. I'm terrible at remembering names though...a few at the top of my head.
Books - The Bronze Horseman, Great Expectations, My Sister's Keeper.
Movies - A pornographic affair, Love Actually (very corny), Amelie
Music - Coldplay, Sneaky Sound System, Powderfinger (lots of Aussie music)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My travels through the Middle East were fascinating. Its extraordinary to realise how misunderstood and complex the cultures, religions and histories of this region.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sorry no free legal advice. I'm much more than that. I think hosts/surfers would all gain something different from me whethers its some obsurd piece of information, funny story or a dance partner.
