I'm an easy going outdoorsy type that likes going on adventures. I'm very friendly and like meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm driven by people and experience and love learning more than anything in the world. I've been craving travel lately because I feel that when you experience other people's culture you learn a little more about the human experience. I need some perspective and I hope I can find it.

Interests

I enjoy everything outdoors including skiing, climbing, camping, and adventuring. I've also been obsessed with music at a very young age and love to play the various instruments that I've learned over the years. I enjoy cooking delicious BBQ and drinking tasty home brewed beers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies: Anything by Quitin Taratino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Charlie Kaufman, Shane Carruth, and Wes Anderson. I like comedies, dramas, and the occasional documentary.

Music: Pretty much all genres. On my current playlist: Belle and Sebastian, The Avalanches, King Krule, Neu!, The Kinks, Silver Jews, Twin Shadow, Paul Simon, Television, The Devil Makes Three, Dirty Projectors, and Caribou.

Some of my favorite authors: Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Chabon, Huxley, Welsh, O'Conner, Palaniuk, and Faulkner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in several bands that have opened for some bigger artists. Probably the biggest show was Flogging Molly in a 4,000+ venue.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach music composition in my spare time. I know a bit about climbing and self rescue when outdoors. I like to cook so I'm good to swap recipes --especially BBQ.
