Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling abroad has been a decade long dream of mine, and the soul-rending wait to start is just about over. I'm just hoping to meet new types of people outside of the sphere of my apparently socially chilly city. I met someone who's been around not long ago, and she told me that people in Seattle are more emotionally closed off than others. I always thought that was just how people are. Now I really want to see what other personality types are out there.

Teach, Learn, Share

As far as learning, I guess I'm hoping to learn how to be more fluidly social without thinking too much about it or being nervous. I see people meet total strangers and communicate with such comfort and ease and I'd like to round myself out enough to be able to do something like that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like sharing my motivation to act on creative impulses with other people. It's the most important thing to me, and I want everyone I know to be as in touch with their creative desires as possible. Things like creativity can have quite a toll on the ego, so many people shy away from really putting themselves into it and it CRUSHES ME. I dunno, I just want us all to be happy with what we do.
