I dont smoke, dont mind others smoking however.

No children, just me enjoying the way things unfold.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Totally new to this and currently live in a building site so at the moment cant offer a couch, but sure to do so in the near future. Looking for places in UK to stop over at the moment to get some time away from this project. I know that means "taking", but "giving back" is very important to me also.

Music (see below), arts, good food (and sometimes bad food!!), environmental/political issues, the earth, the moon, seasons and cycles of the year, writing, photography, radio 4 (did I say that?), mugs of tea, cycling, DIY and again....back to music !

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC - well I used to be a musician (still do a bit!). Play trombone, melodeon and concertina (not at the same time!). I love and adore almost all music, and open to keep exploring this amazing unique expression. I love most classical stuff (did a music degree), some folk, some jazz, acoustic, rock, world music....and pleanty of other stuff in between.

BOOKS and MOVIES - need to work on this as I spend too much time listening to music.....inspiration would be greatly recieved!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know it sounds a bit odd, but when my mum was ill, I nursed her and looked after her. When the time came, I was there and held her hand. She smiled at me as she said goodbye for the last time....I was therefore able to give back the love she originally gave me. Unrepeatable and whilst sad, also makes me happy.....if you know what I mean?

I am also a qualified and registered holistic therapist.....and Reiki Master.

I have good practical and DIY skills too so happy to give you a hand on a project if staying over.
