About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting, fun budget-minded people

ABOUT ME

I'm a single professional male living in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. I live alone in a 3 bedroom house with two dogs (outside dogs and very friendly). At present, I am not working so I have free time on my hands...

I don't log onto couchsurfing often, so if you would like to email me at qx5@comcast.net, I will likely respond quicker.

PHILOSOPHY

This sounds so deep...I'm just a fairly easing going guy who likes to be around people who are more or less the same as me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this writing, I have yet to host anyone or be hosted, but the ideal appeals to me. I have plenty of room here and it wouldn't be inconvenient at all for me to host someone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My house is approximately 1,800 square feet and it is close into the city, but if you know Atlanta, you will probably need a car to get around. It's a 3 mile walk to the subway from my house. However, I have a scooter that I don't use much and you'd be welcome to use that if you like. It doesn't go fast, but considering I live within 7-8 miles of most of the things you'll want to see in Atlanta, it works.

I have a furnished extra bedroom as well as three comfortable couches.

Interests

I like surfing the internet, traveling, playing with my dogs, dining out, good conversation, and smoking cigars (yes, it's true). I have a fan that blows cigar smoke outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch much TV, but if I do, it's usually the news, the biography channel, and the occasional crime drama.

I don't listen to much music at home, but in my car, it's mostly oldies...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too much to mention, but I was in Budapest, Hungary last year, and I was very impressed by that city and its people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fairly savvy business-wise, but I'm thick headed when it comes to learning another language (wish that weren't true).
