Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to the CouchSurfing community- but I am ready to embrace it with arms wide open :)
I've met some super people that friends have hosted through CouchSurfing- and I've been to the odd CouchSurfing get-togethers.
> The peculiarities of language
>Gradually discovering peoples idiosyncrasies
>Other people's music collections- and finding little gems
>Learning history from a local/the involved-refreshing change from the text book. gives it a human face...
>Food glorious food
> the "Arts": music, film, art-enriched with some knowledge of th e historical context
> I don't really have a 'science brain', however if you can explain concepts to me in simple terms, I love learning about new things from this fascinating and unfamiliar area. Some of the information out there is truly mind blowing.
