About Me
I believe in a really simple philosophy- work hard, save, slog and put it all together to make my travel plans a reality. My mission currently is to visit one new country each year, create awesome memories and come back home to start all over again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Truth be told- I am a budget traveller and I think Couchsurfing is revolutionary in helping travellers not just save a few extra bucks but also meet local hosts along the way. Its a total win-win.
I love meeting people and seeing a new place from their perspective- I think it instantly turns a holiday into an experience. So thats that, to sum it up- I am on couchsurfing for a bed to sleep on and some good conversations :)
Interests
I love indulging myself with new experiences, absolutely love dancing. Like I could literally dance all night long. Besides, I could feed myself with good conversations over a drink and spend the entire day walking around and exploring different things to do outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well- Movies would be all classics by Tarantino, Scorsese, Woody Allen (not the movies he started making after missing the plot, Il restrict it to Annie Hall & Crimes & Misdemeanors), Kubrick, Coen Brothers, Coppola.
Apart from these, I like a lot of movies by David Fincher, Danny Boyle, Ang Lee.
Now coming to books- top of the list is Catcher in the Rye, then Murakami, Ruskin Bond, Yann Martel.
And now music- play anything from rock and roll and I will love it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, I made a trip to Singapore by myself and decided to explore the entire city on foot. I didn't take a single mode of transportation and literally walked from one end of the city to the other, just basking in everything that came along the way. I experiences I stumbled upon along the way were just so much better than any of the well-planned things I did otherwise. I think that day was pretty awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Hindi.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a whole bunch of stories to share from India, the way we live, our culture and a really humorous take on a whole lot of silly things we do because 'we are like this only.'
Okay besides that, I can cook some really delicious Indian meals.
On a lighter note, since I work in the media field, I can even share some Bollywood gossip and all for the peeps who are interested.
