ABOUT ME

I was born and grew up in Shanghai, China. I went to a foreign language high school there and learned German for 7 years.
I am currently studying at Pomona College, a liberal arts college (ranked top 5 according to US News) located in Claremont, a suburban town near Los Angeles.(about 30 min drive or 50 min by public transportation)
I am potentially an Astrophysics and Math double major. I am always fascinated by how the curiosity of human beings lead the trivial us to explore and explain the vast universe in such an elegant way.
I am a huge fan of backpacking and hiking. Did some unforgetable hiking on the unrenovated part of the Great Wall and Glaciers in New Zealand. And thanks to my generous college, which subsidizes our outdoor trips, i've gained much more experience since i came in the states.

My friend couchsurfed in Mexico and told me interesting stories. I then joined the couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started to surf this summer. My first host in Leipzig was awesome!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a Helli-Hike on the top of the Franz Joseph Glacier in New Zealand. Hoovered over it for 10 mins and hiked on the top for 2 hours. Saw the sun and rainbow after the short rain. Really amazing

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Chinese if you want. I recently traveled to Tibet, and have tons of stories to share too.
