About Me

CURRENT MISSION

prayer

ABOUT ME

My name is Stefanie. I have lived in Japan for nearly 1 year. I struggle with the language, as I am not good with languages and I simply haven't found a way to enjoy study. I am in Japan for spiritual reasons. I am in prayer nearly 3 hours a day these days. I pray for my friends and family in need and I pray for Mother Earth and the healing of all her children, and myself, of course, too. I'm a nature freak, nothing I love more than the ocean and scuba diving, or a beautiful river, or climbing a mountain. I enjoy lifting weights but suck at cardio vasc. activity as I'm a smoker and don't seem to want to give that up right now; it's my only vice and I like it... not sure what else to say about me; I enjoy reading books and listening to music; I was a professional dancer for many years; some modern but mostly ethnic stuff; Greek, Arabic, Morrocan, African. I LOVE dancing, but at the moment am hugely bummed b/c I sprained my ankle nearly 3 weeks ago and it's not wanting to heal, as I refuse to stay off it... I lived in Numazu Shizuoka and was soooooooooooooo very happy there, I swam in the ocean every day and night, I had many beautiful temples near my apartment and many beautiful temples and a forrest of 1,000 trees. I was moved to Nagoya for a job in October, and have been here ever since. I do not much like Nagoya as I have not made any friends here. I simply don't go out, so I don't really meet anyone. All my friends are in Tokyo. I lived there for 1 month and made friends that I still keep in touch with, but I have not been able to see them since last November. I have this coming Thursday thru Sunday off work, and I would very much like to come to Tokyo to visit my friends, but I do not have a place to stay. my friends simply do not have accomadations and I simply do not have enough money to book a room at a hostel or internet cafe or such so I am hoping that someone in Tokyo will host me... my place is small, but it's up for grabs, I enjoy having visitors and will gladly accomadate anyone wanting to come to Nagoya. I suppose I am quite chatty and outgoing, but don't consider myself to be much entertainment, I don't think there's anything particularly interesting about me other than I know a lot about prayer and spiritual guidance, as I have studied vigorously for the past 15 years. So, again, prayer is why I'm here and it's what I do best, and it's just about all I do other than work.. I think that about sums me up. Looking forward to meeting you and making new friends!

PHILOSOPHY

God is and I am, it is so and so be it. I don't know my place in this world, I only know that I am here to help to heal others and have experienced much pain and sorrow in my lifetime, which I feel was needed so that I may better understand the needs of people on Earth at this time, and I am able to relate to other's pains and sorrows and therefore heal them...

Music, Movies, and Books

Good ole fashion rock n roll is my fav for music; I'm embarrassed to say I enjoy trash novels, I'll read one cover to cover in a day the way another person may watch a movie, I guess. Scary movies are the best. I like to get so scared I'm look'n in my rearview mirror all the way home, certain that someone is waiting back there to slit my throat. not slasher movies, ghost stories... spooky stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

cave diving in Mexico, an underground river that runs 300 miles, there are places where the ground has caved in, and it forms a pool of water called a cenote, and it's in limestone, so there are stalagtites and stalagmites underground as you scuba from one cenote to the next. by the way, please excuse my spelling errors, I'm sure there are many..

Teach, Learn, Share
