My current-current mission to try out absolutely ALL types of Japanese food while I'm visiting there this August

ABOUT ME

Last year I finished my bacelor's degree in linguistics in Aarhus, Denmark, and since then I've been living in Berlin, working and discovering this amazing city!

I am an easy-going guy that really enjoys learning about other people, cultures and languages. I also enjoy a beer or two now and then! And eating obviously - and cooking but mainly for other people!

PHILOSOPHY

Big question. I've always liked the Kierkegaard quote saying "to dare doing something is losing footing for a moment - not to dare doing something is losing yourself." And then I guess I try to meet every day, every person, every situation or thing or whatever with sympathy and kindness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the last year, I have been travelling a lot myself, but this September I'm moving to Aarhus, Denmark to study, and looking waaaay forward to finally welcoming couchsurfers from all over the world!

- to travel without too many expectations or plans
- to experience other cultures
- to get to know people from all over the world
- to eat (period)
- to play piano or guitar/ukulele (preferably in the sun in a park!)
- to nerd out about (any given!) linguistic topic
- to speak foreign languages
- to cook (almost always with butter)
- to hang out with friends and friends to be
- to challenge myself by doing stuff that initially makes me uncomfortable or just plain shit-scared (such as talking in front of big crowds, ugh)
