ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME:
22 year old recent college grad, grew up in Virginia, though most of my family lives in South America scattered in parts of Bolivia and Chile. I grew up speaking Spanish, and sporadically going back to visit family back home. So if anyone has been to parts of La Paz and/or Santiago, I'd love to hear travel stories, as these places are very dear to me:)
life wise, I'm going back to grad school for another year, and then hopefully taking some time off before I do something medically.public heath related.

PHILOSOPHY

Whenever I need a reminder, I always go back to this quote:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to couchsurfing, but I've heard good things about it and am excited.

Interests

On my free time, I like exploring new bars with friends, catching up on my hulu, venturing to hole in the wall thrift shops and restaurants. Going to school in Charlottesville Virginia, I've learned to have a new appreciation for all things green.
I also enjoy going to live concerts, and music in general. South American folk music in particular really strikes a desire in me to pack my things and live by the Andes mountains!
i'm passionate about public health, science, women's empowerment, anthropology, and social justice topics related to health equity :)
