One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lived in a rural caribbean village, haitian carnival, drove across canada and down through the states

Teach, Learn, Share

see the whole thing is a world full of rucksac wanderers, the dharma bums refusing to subscribe to the general demand that they consume production and therefore have to work for privilege of consuming, all that crap they didn’t really want anyway such as refrigerators, tv sets, cars, at least new fancy cars, certain hair oils and general junk that you finally always see in the garbage a week later, all of them imprisoned in a system of work, produce, consume, work, produce, consume, I see a vision of a great rucksac revolution thousands or even millions of young americans wandering around with rucksacs, going up mountains to meditate, making children laugh and old men proud, making young girls happy and old girls happier, all of em zen lunatics who go about writing poems that happen to appear in their heads for no reason and also by being kind and also by strange unexpected acts keep giving visions of eternal freedom to everybody and to all living creatures-jkerouac

I'd really love to be fluent in spanish. Also if anyone in the DR wants a place to stay who knows how to kite board or surf...we'll let you stay if you teach us!
