My husband and I moved to the USA from Ireland and England 6 years ago, we now live in Northern VA about 30 minutes drive outside DC.

PHILOSOPHY

My mum is a bit of a hippy, and I was raised to believe 'we are all connected'!

So far we have hosted one couch surfer on a layover at Dulles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't officially 'couch-surfed', but have stayed at many strangers houses (and had them stay at mine) and always left with a new friend or a funny story. Always happy to give interesting people a place to stay. One of my best friends is an American exchange student my family hosted when I was 12.
