I'm an international relations student from Ukraine. I grew up in Zakarpattia region, surrounded by the Carpathians. Now I live in Kyiv, surrounded by concrete landscapes. I'm studying English and German and trying to use every opportunity to communicate with native speakers. Travelling is my passion too. Meeting new people and discovering new places is something that helps me to fully understand the complexity of this world and find some ways to make it a better place to live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main thing in travelling is not landscapes, monuments and museums, but people. And CS is an opportunity to meet new people from all over the world, find new friends and become a part of their life at least for a short period of time. It allows you not just to see a different world, but to feel it as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being a student, I translated materials for an exhibition which took place in one of the best-known museums in Kyiv. Of course, a few months later I felt ashamed for the quality of that translation. But, nevertheless, it was pleasant to hear foreigners discussing historical background translated by me :)
