ABOUT ME

My best friends would probably say that i am a reliable and helpful person that sometimes talks too much about stuff I am fascinated of (like for example medicine, astronomy, cold reading ...). But luckily I am not easily offended if they tell me to shut up ;-)

I've been together with my girlfriend for 4 years and we are living together.

I don't know yet, to be honest. I just started and want to get to know how this whole thing works.

Interests

I am really interested in medicine, actually I will study medicine even though I would never have dreamed that 4 years ago because it seemed out of reach.
At the moment, I also want to learn more about astronomy and kosmology (on a really low level, I am just getting into it)
Furthermore, I like to take photos. I´ve been photographing since 2009 and I still love to explore the world through my lens.

Another thing that I just started getting into is the technique of "Cold Reading" (you probably never heard of it directly, but it is actually a set of techniques used by magicians as well as "fortunetellers" and so called Psychics to make you think they know stuff about you), but don´t worry. I would like to learn this technique just to get to know the human psychology better and to show the people that they shouldn´t spend their hard-earned money on those "charlatanes" (with charlatanes I of course only mean the Psychics, magicians are cool, in fact my best friend is one that specialized in card tricks - he sure would love to show you some of his skills ;-). Alright, I know it sounds like I am a nerd reading all the time, but it is really not that bad! :-D

- Oh and I almost forgot: I am also boxing (I am very peaceful, though ;-)

There are too many good movies, musicians and books out there to really make a complete list, so this is just an excerpt:

Movies: Fight Club, Sin City, Shutter Island, Inception, American Psycho, the Hannibal movies, Good Fellas, Casino, Rounders, Lucky Number Slevin, scandinavian comedies e.g. Death at a Funeral or The Green Butchers ......

Music: System of a Down, Rammstein, Nirvana, Daft Punk, Justice, Cypress Hill, The Hives, The Prodigy, Muse, Frank Sinatra.....
I also like classical music, especially Bachs Goldberg Variations.

Books: At the moment i am reading a book about Anatomy and Physiology as well as Steven Hawkings The Illustrated Brief History of Time and The Full Facts Book of Cold Reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One moment that really impressed me was when me and my girlfriend decided, that we would leave the country to make a 3-month trip to India, Sri Lanka and Thailand few months later and therefore had to resign the flat we were living in without knowing where to live after our trip :-) Scary on the one hand, but pretty cool on the other.

Another interesting experience was the moment when I first attended an forensic autopsy. I sure won´t forget that.
