Hi!

Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Stephanie, I am 29 years old, I come from Belgium and at the moment I am travelling across Scotland by working in the Workaway program. Now I am staying in a nice farmhouse near Arbroath where I mainly help with jobs outdoors. I will be leaving this lovely couple on May 9th and from then on to about May 18th I am looking for an interesting place to stay for a few days. My plan is to take a 3 day excursion to the western islands with Rabbie's tours during the week of May 9th and stay one night in an Edinburgh hostel as well. As I am travelling on my own I like to spend some time with likeminded people who love to travel and who can exchange some usefull information on what to do and see. So at the moment I am looking for a couch or bed in Edinburgh for a few nights. If you have one vacant somewhere from May 9th until May 14th for one or more nights, let me know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my Workaway time I met another volunteer who also travels through Scotland by couchsurfing. Until then I didn't know about this amazing way of travelling that allows you to see big parts of the world without having to kill your piggy bank. It not only allows you to travel but also puts you in contact with likeminded people who can help you with usefull information that only insiders know.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like musicians who actually can play an instrument and can turn music into a craft.
At the moment I am reading book 5 of the Millenium series.
I can't seem to find the time to go and see a movie. I can't remember wich movie I saw last.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job, wich was very hard to get in the first place and leave without a lot of funding to travel 6 months through Scotland.
That has been the best decision of my life.

I can share some of my cooking skills.
I am an interior architect by profession, maybe someone might need some ideas about redecorating that room that has been untouched for a long time?
