I am laid back and considerate. My family is always hosting family and friends at our house in LA and I know what I like about certain guests and what I don't, and that's made me a more considerate guest when I stay in other people's homes! Currently a Master's student studying business, so trying to save money on my travels (because gradschool is expensssssive!). I love traveling, languages, food, and experiencing different cultures.
Food, art, places, creative expression, and mindless action movies. Also, Disney.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the amazing opportunity to visit a rural Cambodian village from an insider's perspective. We had the same tuk-tuk driver for 3 days so we became friends with him and he took us back to his village (which he hasn't been back to in 2 years). We met his mother, sister, and extended family, they cooked a meal for us (one of their 4 chickens-very special) and chopped a bunch of coconuts from the tree for us as dessert. It was amazing to see life in other places from a perspective that was not above them, and it really taught me empathy because I marveled at how happy they were despite living in a totally different world from me. They had no electricity, running water, not even real walls that shield from the elements to their houses. It also made me appreciate the luxuries we have in the western world, but also realize that they are absolutely not necessary for happiness.
