About Me

Trying to get lost while finding my way

I studied business Finance and Economics, got a job and hated it. Realizing that I didn't want one of those "but it pays good" jobs, I quit. In February of 2012 I packed up my life and moved to South Korea to teach English, which proved to be one of the best decisions I could have made. I spent two amazing years teaching in a small town in central Korea and have since explored Asia in excess.

I'm currently setting my sights to a new destination (finally if you ask my friends) and am planning a Eurotrip. I strive to meet people and make connections when I travel which Couchsurfing does a great job of facilitating. I believe that through interacting in different cultures, meeting different people and exploring the world you learn more about yourself but also that people across countries are the same.

I don't want to look back in 20, 30 or 40 years and talk about the things I wish I had done.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Gracing people with my presence from couches to beds and somtimes floors across the world :)

Surfing has introduced me to some awesome people and provided me with unique, unforgettable travel experiences. I have yet to host but when I set up some more solid foundations would love to do so.

Traveling, Eating, Yoga, Reading, Learning and exploring...pretty much anything outdoors but only if the temperature is above 50 (not a fan of the winter!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Too hard to choose! Although I enjoy a wide range and am always open to new suggestions!

Guilty pleasures: Kdramas and Young Adult books

Sometimes my attention span is to short for movies :/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ferry rides in Australia - past the Sydney Opera house and harbor bridge.

Hiking Jiri mountain in Korea (tallest peak on the peninsula), I'll have to go back for Halisan.

Finishing a Half-Marathon, that shit is hard

Jumped out of an airplane (is that answer cliche?)...on my birthday
