ABOUT ME

Hang out with me enough and you'll be shocked at how random my thought pattern is. I'm slightly superstitious. Rarely am I ever decisive. I like public speaking. Volunteering is a huge passion of mine. I've always been California bound. I'll always be a Jersey girl. Food is an extremely important aspect of my life. I'm a huge nerd who on occasion, wears glasses. English was my third language. I'd like to think everyone has potential. There's nothing more beautiful to me than nature - sunsets, beaches & mountains. I value honesty. I love poems. I feel incredibly fortunate to have visited 15 countries on 5 continents. My favorite forms of art are ceramics, photography and sewing. I never want to stop learning. Nothing is too spicy for me. Africa changed my life. I was a biology and finance major in college. I became immersed in the public health world after USC. Laughing and smiling are things that I do often. My immigrant parents inspire me and my friends are people that I am proud of. I believe in compassion. I want to spend my life helping to alleviate global poverty.
