I live in Albufeira, Portugal with Julia my wife and a small smiley dog. I love to travel and often do in our motorhome. I like surfing, playing guitar, travelling, films, live music, and much more. I find it really hard to stay in one place for too long. My dream is to sail the Atlantic. Motorhomes and camper vans are so important to me, as they give such freedom.

One thing our apartment in Albufeira, may well have one of the best views and locations in the Algarve.

I went to France in May 2016 and my wife suggested this site. Oh it was great - Benoît was a great guy to stay with and an excellent host - thanks.

Right now my RV is back in the UK as I'm selling it before getting a slightly bigger one. So what's a man to do - couch surfing is a great sollution and also so much better to get the low-down from the locals. Who knows even make a friend along the way.

Movies: Well I used to introduce Big Lebowski quotes into office meetings. So Cohen Brothers films. Black Cat/White Cat - a great film.
Liked The Accountant recently. And Girl on the Train was very good.
Books: Bill Bryson, Sophie's World and much more.
