ABOUT ME

I come from a very small town and did my fair share of vacationing, but never really traveled until I graduated college. After receiving my degree I moved to South Korea to teach English at an elementary school and it was the best decision I have made. I was able to meet some awesome people and actually travel around SE Asia. While in Korea I was able to immerse myself in a completely different culture and it helped me grow as a person and fall in love with traveling. I hope to see as much of the world as I can and meet as many people as possible while doing this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS community and am about to embark on a 2 month journey through Europe. Once I return to America and get settled in my own place I will open my doors to fellow Couch Surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to have any couch surfing experience. I learned about it through a couple I met on an overnight train ride in Vietnam. I hope to start couchsurfing on my trip to Europe and then hosting when I return to the United States.

Interests

First and foremost Travel and Culture. All Types of sports; mainly basketball, baseball, American football, and soccer. I love being outdoors fishing or hiking. I am an avid runner and would like to start doing triathalons. I love to push myself mentally and learn as much as I can whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Shutter Island, Being John Malkovich, and pretty much any movie that will make me think.

Music: I listen to pretty much anything.

Books: Anything by Malcolm Gladwell, 1984, Brave New World, Freakonomics, and mostly anything in the non-fiction genre.
