CURRENT MISSION

Between June 1st and August 3rd, I will be in New Zealand without any set plans, reservations, or connections. I am studying Earth Science and Biology Secondary Education and will finish my degree by student teaching in Auckland, August 3rd- December 10th

ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old enthusiastic adventurist. I pursue most of my hobbies either in the woods or water and am easily entertained. After student teaching in New Zealand I will have completed my degree in Earth Science and Biology Secondary Education with a minor in Music. Like the end of my last name my life ends in “ing”; hiking, camping, biking, climbing (ice and rock), swimming, scuba diving, canoeing, snowboarding, x-country skiing, and listening to and playing music. I would love to stay with fellow teachers, travelers, musicians, and athletes, which seems like most of you surfers. I respect hosts and will appreciate any hospitality and friendships. Surfs up!

As a science teacher, I can help share the earth I but want to learn more about the practices of being one with it via yoga, meditation, etc.. I am a great helper and look forward to building a recipe book while in New Zealand.
