Hey, I'm Steven.

I'm always on the lookout for new friends, new people to meet, stories to hear, places to see and cultures to learn about.

I've always been fairly independent and to many extents, still am. I'm quite happy to go travelling around Europe on my own at a moments notice, I enjoy the freedom and spontaneity to just go wandering and start chatting to random people but it is of course always a little nicer to make friends and have someone with which to share those experiences, especially when I start to head further afield. Don't worry though, whilst I'm always going to be super grateful to anyone willing to help me with a place to stay and very happy to play my part in helping them out too, I am quite comfortable keeping to myself!

On the flip side, if you'll be visiting Cambridge or London and want some advice on places to go, always happy to chat too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I figured Couchsurfing could be an awesome way to continue all this travelling while exploring new places and meeting wonderful people, so here I am! I've visited around 60 cities in the last few years and booked most of them between 2 and 72 hours before I leave - so please ignore a last minute request ;) Catch you all soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a super eclectic taste in music and prefer randomness and spontaneity above all else. As long as it is live I'm going to love it - acoustic, jazz, dance, blues, jamming, cheesy pop, indie, rock, festivals, karaoke, gigging, cover bands or originals. Above all, I like stuff I've never experienced the most.

Movies, I enjoy mostly all films but tend to least prefer arthouse/indy ones. Action, spy, thriller, musicals, sci-fi. adventure are always good.
