In the views of foreigners, I am not a stereotyped Chinese (and I do not consider myself Chinese.) I am talkative, sociable and passionate. I love getting to know people from different culture and exchange our experience about life and interest. Travelling is more than only sightseeing but making friends who can show each other the other side of the world that may not be familiar to anyone of us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was recommended by a friend and surely this is my first time to be here to couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although it is my first time to be here, I have tried couch surfing for a few times. Yet they were organized by tours or organization so it was not long enough for me to stay and get to know more. But still those were good experience because I could get to know to the people's life and communicate with them.

兴趣

Culture always attracts me. I love knowing the culture, the costumes and the values of a place and people because it is always important to understand and appreciate others in this globe. I like experiencing life too. As such, I like going out with friends, participating in different cultural events such as drama and movies and drinking. Furthermore, I like spending a day with a local to experience what they do because I believe it is the real meaning of travelling. Personally, apart from the above mentioned, I enjoy swimming and taking sunbath, reading and cooking. Last but not least, I am a big fan of languages. Until now, apart from Cantonese and Mandarin, I can speak fluent English, intermediate-level Spanish, a little of Japanese and Korean. At the same time, I am trying to learn some Brazilian Portuguese too.

I love reading novels as well as social science books. Books about languages cannot be missed too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first moment is my adventure in Las Torres del Paine in Chile. I trekked fro three days of which the last one I faced a strong snowstorm for more than three hours with no professional equipment and my friend and I finally survived. The second moment is my hydrospeed jorney in Pucón in Chile. Surfing in the currents, I was pushed away from it and left behind while getting stuck in a dead current. I had to swim across the current to catch up with it and let it bring me back to the group again. Even though I know how to swim, I was totally frightened before I met my group again.
